This car is straight out of 1966, original and numbers matching v8 289, 1 owner car from the USA. All Papers in order.
This Ford Mustang 289 Convertible is clean, no rust in foot wells etc which is very rare on the convertibles. Starts and runs easy.
Engine, gearbox has had a full service etc runs perfect all the stuff works, even electric roof, period lux interior.
Interior carpet, foam and seats are all new with the cool mustang embroidery.
Here is the thing engine has not been redone since the factory so power is ok. That is the bad news, Here is the good news. It is still good and I have bought
every part, for interior and exterior that had an issue, new replacements or refurb, there are over 100 parts. From the pony in the front to new rear springs, new dash, new gaskets, new soft top, rear right quater panel, original hub caps.
There is over $25 000 of parts from the USA. The car is clean runs well, really beautiful and convertible.
So here it is you can drive as is or make it epic with new paint of your choice and make it special. Just imagine. I did a render of what I wanted to do, metalic candy apple red with gt pearl white stripes.
